Niger Delta University Digital Library Inauguration. A learning facility and digital library has been built and delivered to the pioneer State-owned Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island. The project developed by Shell Petroleum Development Company in collaboration with the NNPC, ExxonMobil, NAOC and NCDMB was inaugurated by Bayelsa State Governor represented by his deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
