Rupture Disc A rupture disc is a safety device used in pressure systems to protect equipment from overpressure. It is a thin, specially designed metal or composite disc that bursts at a predetermined pressure, allowing the excess pressure to be released safely. Function: 1- Protect vessels, pipelines, or equipment from exceeding maximum allowable pressure. 2- Acts as a fail-safe when other pressure relief devices (like safety valves) cannot respond fast enough. Design: 1- Made from metal, graphi
