COARCTATION OF THE AORTA (CoA) --- 1--Definition Coarctation of the aorta is a congenital narrowing of the aortic lumen, most commonly located just distal to the origin of the left subclavian artery, near the insertion of the ductus arteriosus (“juxtaductal” area).
