HELICOPTER CRASHED IN UMGENI RIVER Earlier today, multiple reports came flooding into our Emergency Dispatch Center about a helicopter that had crashed in the Umgeni River, near the Umgeni N2 Interchange. Emergency Services, paramedics, and multiple first responders arrived on scene shortly after. The teams worked quickly however, the pilot and co-pilot had succumbed to their injuries and were declared deceased on scene.
