"The Brother From Another Planet" (1984) is a sci-fi film that is a rarity in Black cinema. Starring Joe Morton, Daryl Edwards, Steve James, Leonard Jackson, Bill Cobbs, Tom Wright, Caroline Aaron, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sidney Sheriff Jr., and John Sayles. This film is well made with very good story behind it. I like the linearity to the film as the supporting cast members are made up of people that has random interactions with The Brother.
