Vance Boelter has been charged in the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses, and the FBI says that he visited the homes of multiple other elected officials the night he killed Minnesota Rep.

In a chilling development, federal charges filed against Vance Boelter allege the assassin went to two other Minnesota lawmakers homes the night he shot Sen. John Hoffman and his wife and murdered Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband.

Vance Boelter is charged with six federal counts. He is currently in federal custody and appeared in court at the federal courthouse in downtown St. Paul Monday afternoon.
