Tropical Storm Dalila formed in the North Pacific Ocean Friday morning Mexico Central Time, according to the National Hurricane Center. The tropical storm had sustained wind speeds of 40 miles per hour.

The fourth named storm of the Eastern Pacific hurricane season has a high chance of forming within the next 48 hours. A forecast map from the National Hurricane Center (NHC) anticipates the storm will form south of Southern Mexico.

The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Dalila has formed in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The cyclone is centered Friday south of southwestern Mexico, about 190 miles south of Zihuatanejo.
