The elder James and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry have developed a friendship over the years, and it allowed Curry to get a look at the younger James when the latter was a toddler. Curry recently remarked that he saw something special in the younger James even back then (h/t Lakers Daily ).

During an appearance on the 360 With Speedy podcast, Curry recalled first seeing Bronny James as a toddler and immediately noticing something special in his athleticism. Now, years later, Curry is watching that same kid take his first steps in the league —and like many around the NBA, he’s amazed by how quickly time has flown.
