Family and fans of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne gathered in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on Wednesday to say a final farewell. The hearse carrying Osbourne, who died July 22 at the age of 76, traveled through the main streets of Birmingham with a view of the Black Sabbath frontman's coffin covered in purple flowers.

One day after thousands of fans bid farewell to Ozzy Osbourne, close friends and family of the rock legend gathered to say their final goodbye in a private ceremony.

Ozzy Osbourne was reportedly laid to rest on the grounds of his family's estate in England. Osbourne's casket was buried beside a lake at his Buckinghamshire home on Thursday, July 31, according to The Sun.
