An Army veteran received Super Bowl tickets in a powerful NFL and Pat Tillman Foundation salute ahead of Veterans Day.
The U.S. Pentagon has banned flyovers at NFL games, while service members have also been prohibited from participating in pregame/halftime.
The rest of the "NFL Fox Sunday" crew – including Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Charissa Thompson, Charles Woodson and Julian Edelman – will be joined by hundreds of veterans and active duty service members from the FOX Sports Studios lot in Los Angeles.
Veterans and families gathered on board the Battleship Iowa in San Pedro on Sunday, Nov. 9, to enjoy an early celebration of Veterans Day.
“Fox NFL Sunday” normally goes on the road and visits military bases for the two-hour program, but this year’s show will be from the Fox Sports Studios lot in Los Angeles with Jay Glazer doing segments from the Veterans Day Parade in Washington, D.C.
Michael Strahan promised to give a suit to an army veteran to aid him on his search for a job after serving in the military.
