Travis Knight is directing the feature that Amazon MGM plans on releasing theatrically worldwide June 5, 2026.

Kristen Wiig will voice the mechanical warrior in the upcoming Masters of the Universe film adaptation from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed. Previous versions of the character have been voiced by Justin Long, Alan Oppenheimer, and Michael Donovan.

The film also stars Idris Elba, Camila Mendes, Morena Baccarin, James Purefoy, Alison Brie, Charlotte Riley, and Johannes Haukur Johannesson. The cast includes Sam C Wilson, Hafthor Bjornsson, Kojo Attah, Sasheer Zamata, Christian Vunipola, and John Xue Zhang.
