One of the top prospects in baseball made his home debut when Royals slugger Jac Caglianone was in the lineup for the opener of a three-game series against the New York Yankees.

His first four-hit game as a big-leaguer — his first multi-hit game in the majors — arrived Sunday afternoon against the White Sox. Caglianone joined Bo Jackson as the only players in franchise history to enjoy a four-hit day within his first six games. Jackson, who had four hits in his fifth game, did so on Sept. 11, 1986.

The Kansas City Royals have promoted top prospect Jac Caglianone to the majors, the team announced Monday. Caglianone, the No. 6 pick in last summer's draft, could make his big-league debut as soon as Tuesday, when the Royals host the St. Louis Cardinals.
