There will be a brand new "Island" mode for players to explore in the upcoming WWE 2K25 video game. Paul Heyman appeared in a trailer at the Sony State of Play presentation and revealed the new mode and some juicy details about what it entails.

We finally have our first look at The Island in WWE 2K25 from today's Sony PlayStation State of Play. Paul Heyman himself introduced us to the marquee new feature in this year's WWE 2K game, an open-world island experience exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Ahead of the game's release this March, 2K has released a new gameplay trailer for WWE 2K25 showcasing some of the modes and match types players will be able to delve into. Check it out after the jump!

The Sony PlayStation State of Play is an event which showcases new updates, trailers and announcements for upcoming games, and the 12th of February program had exciting news for fans of the WWE 2K series with a new mode called “The Island” revealed.
