WWE head of creative Triple H is doubling down on rapper Travis Scott's involvement in the storyline featuring WWE champion Cody Rhodes, The Rock and newly minted villain John Cena.

Dave Meltzer doubled down on his report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Scott's slap on Rhodes during the WWE Elimination Chamber incident legitimately caused a ruptured eardrum and a black eye. It was added that the slap led to significant backstage heat towards Scott.

The biggest story to come out of this year's Elimination Chamber was John Cena's heel turn, and the subsequent brutal attack he and The Rock unleased on the champion. Rapper Travis Scott was also involved in the segment,
