The contest, which was supposed to take place Jan. 11, is now set for March 17 at Crypto.com Arena, giving the Lakers six games in eight days from March 13-20

With his Spurs set to take on the Pacers in Paris, France, Victor Wembanyama is savoring every moment of his homecoming.

The Orlando Magic had three games moved. A home date with Chicago was switched from March 12 to March 6, a road game with San Antonio was pushed back from March 17 to April 1 and a road game with New Orleans was moved up from April 6 to March 13.

With the Spurs playing at the Lakers on March 17, the Spurs game at home against Orlando on that date has now been moved to April 1. Seven other games slated for March or April also were rescheduled Tuesday to accommodate the new dates for the Spurs-Lakers and Bucks-Pelicans matchups.

The Lakers versus Spurs game originally scheduled for Jan. 11 that was postponed due to the Los Angeles area wildfires has now been rescheduled.

The wildfire situation in California appears to finally be heading toward a resolution, so teams like the Los Angeles Lakers can rest a little easier knowing that there isn’t any immediate danger in their local neighborhoods.
