The finals of the IHSA state football playoffs are set. The original field of 256 teams across eight classes is down to 16 after Saturday’s action.

The Marauders dropped a 25-21 heartbreaker to No. 2 St. Joseph (Mont.) in the Non-Public A semifinals on Friday in Jersey City. Quarterback Tyler Bell found fellow senior Hunter Watson for a pair of touchdowns and also sophomore Amari Jones for another score. This was St. Peter’s Prep’s first trip to the state semifinals since 2021.
