(City Council appoints a permanent City Manager)....It happened at this week's El Centro City Council meeting.

(Community Action Day is November 1st)....The Imperial Irrigation District, City of Calexico and a coalition of state and local partners have a project.

They are located at 1699 North Imperial Avenue in El Centro. There will be Trick or Treat booths, drinks, fun activities and a Haunted House. It will run from 5-9 pm tonight. Everybody is invited.

(County Board of Supervisors approve the agreement)....It is with Align Builders Incorporated.

( The first annual American Legion Post 25)...They will be hosting their first Halloween Carnival late this afternoon.
