A New Jersey Transit bus driver is accused of causing a crash that critically injured a police officer in Essex County last month, authorities said Monday. Djimmy Evra, 40, of Orange, was charged with fourth-degree assault by auto with serious bodily injury in the crash last month in Roseland, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
