The NFC North is loaded with intrigue, from the Chicago Bears getting a new coach for Caleb Williams to the Detroit Lions restocking after a stunning No. 1-seed exit to the Green Bay Packers looking to stay healthy around Jordan Love.

Although there was speculation that the Minnesota Vikings could trade down from pick No. 24 to accumulate more picks, the Vikings stayed put and selected Ohio State guard Donovan Jackson. It's not a sexy pick, but the former Buckeye will be counted on to be a Day 1 starter for the Vikings in 2025.

That means the Vikings only have three picks left in the draft. Day 2 of the draft begins at 6:00 PM CST tonight, and the second and third rounds will follow. Vikings fans will have a long night of waiting, though.
