The Lakers remain the heavy favorites to retain James, but the DraftKings odds on LeBron staying in L.A. have changed significantly over the last few weeks.

While LeBron James ultimately decided to return to the Los Angeles Lakers for at least one more season, there is some reason to believe that might not necessarily have been his preferred outcome.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had to deal with trade rumors surrounding LeBron James ever since Rich Paul sent out a statement after James opted into his player option. James is perceived to be unhappy with what they have done recently.
