WASHINGTON -- Acaden Lewis' 26 points helped Villanova defeat Georgetown 80-73 on Saturday. Lewis added six assists and three steals for the Wildcats (18-5, 9-3 Big East Conference). Tyler Perkins added 15 points and had eight rebounds. Duke Brennan finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Returning to his hometown, freshman Acaden Lewis scored a career-high 26 points to propel Villanova to an 80-73 Big East Conference victory over Georgetown on Saturday in Washington, D.C.

The Wildcats are putting themselves in prime position to make a return to the NCAA Tournament after a three-year hiatus. In his hometown, Lewis made sure that Villanova would not pick up a blemish on its resume in D.C.
