According to Riverside County records, the missing 7-month-old's father pleaded guilty to willful cruelty to a child following a 2018 arrest.
Emmanuel Haro was reported missing on Thursday after someone attacked his mother outside of a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in the 34500 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, according to the family. Mother Rebecca Haro said she was changing her baby's diaper when someone punched her. When she came to, she ran into the sporting goods store and called 911.
The Sheriff’s Department in San Bernardino County, Calif., said that Emmanuel Haro’s mother had stopped speaking with investigators after being confronted with inconsistencies in her initial report.
