The New York Knicks travel back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to face the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. Here is what to know.
It’s win or go home and Indiana is 1-1 at home so far in the series and will need a big game from Tyrese Haliburton or Pascal Siakam after combining for 15 points in the last game. Jalen Brunson led New York with 32 points in Game 5, while Karl-Anthony Towns posted 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Haliburton did not play well in Game 5, finishing with just eight points, six assists and two rebounds. His combined total for those stats was the second-lowest since the Pacers lost Game 3 to the Cavs in the conference semifinals. He was not aggressive in moving around the court or creating shots for his teammates.
The Thunder dominated their way to the NBA Finals. They went 12-4 against the West playoffs with mostly double-digit point wins. They beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games in the Western Conference Finals. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was given the Western Conference Finals MVP.
Game 4 was a thriller with the Pacers winning, 130-121, behind a 32-point, 15-assists, and 12-rebound triple-double via Tyrese Haliburton and 30 points from Pascal Siakam. Jalen Brunson scored 31 points for the Knicks and Karl-Anthony Towns, plus OG Anunoby combined for 46 points on 15-of-31 from the field.
