With the Los Angeles Lakers playing a rescheduled contest to resume play following the All-Star break, they suffered another loss with Luka Doncic on the squad.

Before his injury, Doncic was putting up All-Star numbers, averaging 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. However, his extended absence caused him to not be voted to the 2024-25 All-Star Game, finishing just outside the threshold to earn an invitation.

Luka Dončić is going back to work with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he's likely back to full speed as well. Coach JJ Redick says Doncic probably won't have a minutes restriction this week after his deliberate start to his Lakers tenure before the All-Star break.
