Iran will not succumb to pressure and sanctions imposed by Washington, the Islamic Republic's top diplomat said on Tuesday after meeting his Russian counterpart, days after Moscow held initial talks with the U.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Iran on Tuesday to hold talks with Tehran's foreign minister, Russia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Citing people familiar with the situation, Bloomberg stated Trump expressed an interest to work with Iran on both nuclear matters and Tehran's support for anti-U.S. proxies in the Middle East during a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin last month.
