Sony’s been passing out a slightly tweaked SIXAXIS controller to developers to work into their upcoming games. The good news is these SIXAXIS+ controllers have better motion sensing.

There are plenty of solutions, though, and one new Android app— Sixaxis Controller —lets you connect a PS3 controller to your Android handset to use for controlling games.

Speaking to the press, Chief Producer Jun Takeuchi notes that his team won’t be exploiting the motion controls found in the SIXAXIS controller for aiming in the game.
