Customers with a DISH voice remote and a broadband-connected Hopper (all generations), Joey (all models) or Wally can access the Google Assistant once they receive the software update.

DISH designed the remote to interpret natural language, populating search results based on program title, actor or genre, and building contextual searches to narrow options, as desired.

The Joey clients are Dish’s add-on receivers that allow you to extend Dish’s TV service to other rooms in your home without the need for a separate DVR.
