A Winston-Salem woman known as the Bicycle Lady is in critical condition at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after she was assaulted by a man in a hospital parking deck, authorities said Monday. Esther Eyvonnie Deaver, 85, was assaulted shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday in a parking deck at Baptist, Winston-Salem police said.
