MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday morning shooting that left a man injured. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

One person is recovering from injuries after being shot outside a Wawa gas station during a road rage encounter, the Tampa Police Department said.

The victim honked at the alleged assailant for driving slowly. Daniel Duarte, 22, was taken into custody after shooting twice at the victim’s vehicle.

Deland Police arrested 22-year-old Daniel Duarte on two counts of aggravated assault and firing a gun into a vehicle, among other charges. Police said it appears another driver honked at Duarte who responded by firing rounds at his vehicle.
