The latest incident took place during a recent game between the Phoenix Mercury and the Connecticut Sun at the PHX Arena. 18-year-old Kaden Lopez was arrested after allegedly throwing a sex toy into the crowd, which then struck a man and his 9-year-old niece.

Lopez is the second man arrested for throwing a sex toy at a WNBA game. Delbert Carver, 23, was arrested for throwing one at an Atlanta Dream game last week. There have been five such incidents, beginning on July 29, with the Golden State Valkyries- Dream game.

Lopez's alleged prank is thought to be the fifth instance in the last 10 days of an individual throwing an adult object at a WNBA game. The first arrest, of 23-year-old Delbert Carver, was made Saturday after he allegedly threw an adult object on July 29 during the Atlanta Dream's game against the Golden State Valkyries.
