The Miami Dolphins are no longer in the top five in the 2026 NFL draft order after their surprising upset of the Buffalo Bills. But the Dolphins didn't fly out of contention for an early draft pick either.

Miami Dolphins fans haven't had much to cheer for this season, but they did on Sunday as their team picked up a win over their division rival.

The Bills’ odds haven’t taken a huge hit for Week 11, despite facing a marquee matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills are 5.5-point favorites. Tampa Bay and Buffalo have both lost a bit of shine in the last week (TB lost to the Patriots in the Tom Brady Former Teams Bowl), but could easily right the ship with a win here.

In Buffalo’s 35-0 victory over Miami on Sept. 19, 2021, Tagovailoa sustained fractured ribs that forced him to miss three games. In the Bills’ 26-11 rematch victory on Oct. 31 that season, Tagovailoa fractured a finger that sat him down for a game and a half.

Stories emerged during this past offseason claiming that Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross could move on from general manager Chris Grier, head coach Mike McDaniel and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa if the club failed to earn at least one playoff win in January 2026.

Dolphins running back De'Von Achane had plenty of suitors at Tuesday's trade deadline. But none of them paid Miami's huge asking price.
