The New York Knicks are currently looking around the NBA to find a new head coach for the team. After New York dismissed veteran head coach Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks have been frantically searching for a new leader.

Even though the New York Knicks' requests to interview Jason Kidd and Billy Donovan have been turned down, there's some thought at least one of them could still become available to them.

Regardless, the decision has been made, and all the Mavericks can do is look towards the future. They seemingly did so earlier in the week when they denied the New York Knicks the opportunity to interview Jason Kidd. After the Knicks fired head coach Tom Thibodeau, many believe that Kidd could’ve been the Knicks' head coach.
