No federal money for National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service — that was the message of President Trump's 143rd executive order of his second term. That order — issued May 1 — would prevent the Corporation for Public Broadcasting from funding NPR and PBS.

The CPB is pushing back on President Donald Trump's executive order to no longer provide federal funding for NPR and PBS.

The nonprofit corporation is set to receive $535 million in congressionally appropriated funds in fiscal years 2025 and 2026.
