Brooke Mohr, the chair of the Nantucket Select Board, said at first, people were scared about the possible impacts the debris could have on the environment.

“It indicates to me that there appear to be more issues with more blades than just the one, and that’s as much as I know,” Nantucket Select Board Chairperson Brooke Mohr said Wednesday morning.
