The Houthi group threatened “effective” strikes against Israel on Wednesday, following an Israeli naval attack against the Al-Hudaydah Port in western Yemen.

Israeli warplanes struck Yemen’s key Red Sea port of Hudaydah on Tuesday, damaging dock infrastructure critical for humanitarian aid, Yemeni media reported, as the brutal Israeli war in Gaza continues to reverberate across the region.

Israeli navy ships have struck targets in the port city of Hudaydah in Houthi-controlled Yemen. The Israeli military said in a statement the strikes were carried out in response to Houthi missiles targeting Israel and were aimed at stopping the use of the port for "military purposes".
