Put plainly, a Bartholin’s cyst is a fluid-filled swelling on one of the Bartholin’s glands, which are located on each side of the opening of the vagina, on the lips of the labia minora.
These are small, raised bumps that apear on the labia or next to the lips. They are not infectious nor are they a result of an STD; in fact, they are harmless.
