The New York Giants announced Friday that Jameis Winston will start for the second consecutive week as Jaxson Dart remains in concussion protocol.

Winston could be heard yelling “TRENCHES!” mid-huddle, riffing about meeting a teammate's mom from the sidelines to the disbelief of the lineman and launching into a pile of defensive linemen as well on sideline pep talks with insurmountable enthusiasm. At the end of the day, that was just Winston being himself.
