Mojang Studios have announced the Minecraft PC Bundle, a package deal that will give Xbox Game Pass for PC users access to both the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.

This edition also features access to the Minecraft Marketplace, where you can buy additional maps, skins, and various other goodies.

Minecraft Java Edition players can only cross-play with people on the same version, which is relegated to PC, Mac, and Linux.

The "Minecraft: Java Edition" is the classic version of "Minecraft" still updated in tandem with the Bedrock version. It is available on Mac, PC, and Linux with its own siloed Realms cross play.
