As a fellow C++ programmer, here's my opinion. Network programming is used everywhere. Graphics seems to be less prevalent, as nowadays the majority of the graphics is handled by the OS.

The graphics architecture Vega from AMD, underlying graphics cards such as the Radeon VII and Radeon PRO VII, is slated for cessation of maintenance support in the ROCm GPU programming software stack.
