Major winners Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith all committed to stay with LIV Golf in 2026 on Tuesday, turning down the chance to follow Brooks Koepka back to the US PGA Tour.Five-time major winner Koepka announced his return to the US circuit on Monday under a new program that created a pathway back for stars who joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit.
Brooks Koepka is back on the PGA Tour, and one of golf's greatest legends is excited about his return.
Anyway, Brooks is back and the PGA Tour is better for it.
"Right now I’ve got a contract. Looking forward to seeing what we can do with LIV Golf this year," Bryson DeChambeau said.
The PGA Tour has clear intentions of bringing back some of the top golf stars it lost to LIV Golf years ago. That trend started recently when Brooks Koepka struck a stunning deal with the PGA Tour to return after choosing not to reignite negotiations with LIV.
The PGA Tour have opened the door for a few LIV Golf players to make their way back, but Phil Mickelson is not among them. Brooks Koepka is set to rejoin the PGA Tour after agreeing to make a $5 million donation to charity.
With the 2026 golf season about to kick off, you’d expect Brooks Koepka to look worried, given he has no league to play for. Surprisingly, that’s not the case.
