The Bengals lost linebacker Shaka Heyward to a leg injury during Sunday's loss to the Jets and it looks like they'll be without him for the near future as well.

A Cam Skattebo injury update on social media brought creative responses about the New York Giants running back's potential timeline to return to NFL.

Skattebo suffered a gruesome dislocation of his right ankle, a fractured fibula and a ruptured deltoid ligament in Week 8.

Giants running back Cam Skattebo went immediately from Lincoln Financial Field to the operating room after dislocating his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, but that won't be the only injury he's recovering from as he moves toward the 2026 season.

FC Cincinnati defender Nick Hagglund was named the 2025 MLS Comeback Player of the Year on Wednesday. Hagglund, 33, sustained a fractured fibula, torn ligaments and tendons, and significant cartilage damage in his ankle in a June 2024 match. It was his third season-ending injury in four seasons.

Along with suffering a dislocated ankle Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants running back also fractured his fibula and ruptured his deltoid ligament, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The rookie out of Arizona State underwent emergency surgery Sunday night in Philadelphia to close the wound in his leg.
