Experts are skeptical that a smartphone can be built in the US based on the specifications, price and timeline laid out by Donald Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump when they announced the phone.
According to Donald Trump Jr., the Trump Organization determined that the mobile phone industry has experienced “lackluster performance” with an “underserved” audience. Monday’s announcement of Trump Mobile included the unveiling of a mobile plan and a gold phone, but Trump Jr. said “an entire package of products” will be introduced.
Whether directly peddling products or not, the president is a walking financial conflict of interest who routinely enriches himself.
