EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — An Evansville man faces criminal charges after an investigation into a false candidacy filing, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office said in a Friday evening news release.

Colbert was banned by the 8th District GOP in 2024 from running for office as a Republican until 2030. But in February he filed his candidacy to be a delegate to the Indiana GOP's state convention.
