Typhoon Fung-wong triggered floods and landslides, cut power to entire provinces and killed at least two people before barreling out of the Philippines on Monday.

The Philippines is bracing for what may be another storm following the havoc caused by Typhoon Kalmaegi. The super typhoon referred to internationally as Fung-Wong or locally, Uwan, is predicted to be growing in intensity as it approaches the archipelago,

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is currently monitoring a developing storm east of Mindanao that is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility as Typhoon Uwan by tonight or early tomorrow and may intensify into a super typhoon while approaching Northern Luzon.
