Roberto Orci, the producer and writer behind the TV reboot 'Hawaii Five-0,' 'Star Trek,' 'Transformers' and several other action-adventure movies, has died.

Writer and producer Roberto Orci, who worked on Transformers and the Star Trek reboot, died aged 51 on Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles as his cause of death has been revealed

Roberto “Bob” Gaston Orci, the writer and producer behind some of the biggest sci-fi and action-adventure hits of the last two decades, has passed away at the age of 51. Orci died at his Los Angeles home on February 25 after a battle with kidney disease.
