Kim Thayil says thatSoundgarden are excited about being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class, but that the surviving band members aren’t ready to share their performance or participation plans quite yet.

Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, a San Diego native, will become the first drummer to be inducted as a member of two different bands. He was previously inducted with Pearl Jam.
