Police and fire investigators who looked into the rapper Kid Cudi’s allegations and a celebrity stylist who said he witnessed several assaults testified Wednesday in the third week of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal criminal trial.

Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was called as a witness by the prosecution. Mescudi, the "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper, was once in a brief relationship with Combs' ex, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura .

Diddy’s ex and mother of his son Justin Combs, stylist Misa Hylton, attended the first two days of the trial. She later clarified on social media that she was there to support their son because he told her, “Mommy I need you.”
