A new Pirates of the Caribbean film has been rumoured for years, with the likes of Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp keen to return - but it's unlikely to happen.

Bloom starred in 2003's "The Curse of the Black Pearl" and 2006's "Dead Man's Chest" with Kiera Knightley and Johnny Depp, both of whom he'd welcome back.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has teased the star might return, but maybe it's time to just let that ship sail.
