TCU women’s basketball beat Sam Houston State 88-46 on Sunday to improve to 2-0 and extended its home winning streak to 26 games, a record that dates back to last season. Guard Olivia Miles nearly posted a double-double with 22 points and nine assists. Fellow guard Donovyn Hunter had a career-high 20 points to go with six assists and five rebounds.

Kingston Flemings scored 20 points, Joseph Tugler added 15 points and eight rebounds and No. 2 Houston defeated Towson 65-48 on Saturday.Flemings finished 8 of 10 from the field, and Tugler shot 7 of 14.

Notably, the LSU starting lineup did not include transfer guard MiLaysia Fulwiley. She came off the bench on Tuesday, just like she did in the two seasons she played with her hometown South Carolina program. She checked in to a loud ovation halfway through the first quarter, then drilled a step-back 3-pointer from the right wing.

Houston basketball lost four players last year to graduation: J’Wan Roberts, L.J. Cryer, Mylik Wilson and Ja’Vier Francis. Last season, Roberts and Cryer did most of the work offensively and were the top two options in the offense.
