Ty Gibbs defeated Ty Dillon in the Ty vs. Ty matchup in the Final Round of the inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge. Gibbs finished 21st in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 — seven spots ahead of Dillon — to claim the $1 million prize.

Ty Gibbs is the winner of the first NASCAR in-season tournament. Gibbs bested Ty Dillon with a 21st-place finish in the Brickyard 400 on July 27 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to win the in-season final.

The sixth-seeded Gibbs outran No. 32 seed Ty Dillon in Brickyard 400 for the top prize of the 32-driver tournament.
